We are the 43 volunteers from Scott Wilson who will be building a School in Tofo, Mozambique from May to July 2008. This site will carry the story of the building of the school and of the volunteers from May to August 2008
The community school site is located to the north of Tofo village, near the Bamboozi community.
Tofo desperately needs school facilities. The children currently study on a dusty cement floor with grass walls. They have no desks, chairs, books, bags or pens and therefore the quality of their education could be vastly improved. We can make a difference out there – through improving the educational environment and giving them a school they can be proud of working alongside local people for their children’s future, whilst also providing a building available for community facilities outside the school hours.
Should it be required the project team can be contacted in Emergencies only. See below

Scott Wilson Millennium Project
The Scott Wilson Millennium Project (SWMP) is a registered charity funded by the donations and generosity of its staff and their friends and families.
The SWMP has raised £25,000 for the new school in Africa through Scott Wilson staff donations. John Nutt (SWMP Patron and SW International CEO) has now officially handed this construction fund to Quest, our partners for the project.
Quest will purchase materials and begin construction of the foundations of the school prior to the arrival of the first group of volunteers.
